Heavy Duty Mechanic Location: 464035A RR245 - Rural Wetaskwin, AB Permanent Job description: AAA Striping & Seal Coating Service has operated in Western Canada for over 40 years. We're known for doing things right, running safe operations, and treating our people with respect. Our mechanics play a critical role in keeping our fleet reliable and our crews moving. If you're a Heavy Duty Mechanic who takes pride in your work and wants steady employment with a solid company, we'd like to talk. What You'll Be Doing - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and specialized road construction equipment - Work on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and preventative maintenance - Complete inspections and keep accurate service records - Occasional field repairs when needed (not constant callouts) - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop - Follow safety standards and best practices What We're Looking For - Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic (Apprentices considered) - Red Seal an asset - Valid Class 5 license (Class 1 or 3 an asset) - Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills - Able to work independently and manage your own jobs - Safety-focused and reliable What We Offer - Competitive hourly wage – based on experience & certification - Benefits package (health & dental) after probation - Seasonal overtime opportunities - Opportunity for year-round employment - Stable company with over 40 years in business - Supportive team environment where mechanics are trusted to do their job Job Type: Full-time Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Vision care Please submit your resume.
