Employment Opportunity HOLDING FACILITY MONITORS - CASUAL CAMROSE POLICE SERVICE An Equal Opportunity Employer The Camrose Police Service is accepting applications for casual Holding Facility Monitor positions. These positions are responsible for the constant monitoring and care of all prisoners housed in the Camrose Police Service Holding Facility. FUNCTIONS: - Provide monitoring of prisoners on a continual basis. - Provide applicable care to all prisoners including meals. - Continual and accurate record keeping of prisoner activity. - Perform general office and administrative duties when not monitoring prisoners. QUALIFICATIONS: - Ability to be attentive and alert. - Excellent observation and communication skills. - Previous guarding experience would be an asset. - Reliable with a strong work ethic. - Provide current and satisfactory Police Information Check. HOURS OF WORK: This is a casual, on-call position. Holding Facility Monitors may be called in at any time, including nights, weekends, and statutory holidays, based on operational needs. Applicants must be available and willing to work irregular hours, including overnight shifts. HOURLY WAGE: The hourly wage for this position will be $22.46 per hour.
