What you'll do: - The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (and other duties as required): - Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service - Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department - All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts - Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Camrose Food store - Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses - Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment - Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards. - Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules. - Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others - Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures - This position requires the use of computers, as well as heavy lifting of products. Candidates will demonstrate the following: - Understanding of our Values (Teamwork, People, Excellence, Community) - Committed to providing excellent customer service to our member-owners as well as internal customers - Quality communication skills - Ability to workdays, evenings and weekends This position will report to the Produce Manager - This is a part-time position based on 6-10 hrs/week; the successful candidate will have the ability to workdays, evenings, and weekends.
